This series is designed to highlight Female, non-binary, genderqueer and otherwise trans musicians people in the jazz community! Everybody is welcome to come and share in some exciting music making.

Hannah Silverman is a singer/songwriter and performer who's music fuses pop, jazz, and a flair for the theatrical into a sound that's as playful as it is soulful. Originally from Nashville and now based in Chicago, she is active in the music, theater, and comedy scenes across the city and beyond.

Kyle Downs is a Texas-born, Chicago-based guitarist that explores the intersection of jazz, indie rock, and soul through his carefully crafted selection of covers and original material. Accompanied by Nadav Simon on drums and Matt Coglianese on bass.

The Frē jam is written in the international phonetic alphabet (IPA) to emphasize the ethos of the jam: to explore what we hear, not what we see, without notation, but with phonetic interpretation of all the unique expressions that come together to make our collective sound; guided by Chandler Browne

The Vintage Jazz Ensemble is a quintet featuring several of Chicago's most well-loved jazz musicians breathing new life into the classic vocal and instrumental repertoire of the 1920s-40s!

Since 2003, Sam Robinson has played in venues all over Chicago and the Midwest. He currently leads the Sam Robinson Quintet, which plays straight-ahead jazz, mainly from the hard-bop / post-bop era. The band also performs original compositions in a similar style.
