Morgan Pirtle

Morgan Pirtle is an independent singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Chicago. She naturally blends jazz with other contemporary influences, painting ethereal and impactful soundscapes with her music. Critic Ryan Rosenberger describes her work as, “conceptual and introspective, with each song of hers serving as a tightly-woven meditation on a certain aspect of herself.” She is often compared to singers like Norah Jones and Rachael Price. Garnering praise as DownBeat Student Music Award recipient and a Luminarts Fellow in Jazz, Pirtle continues the trajectory of her musical journey through collaborations and new music. Aside from her personal releases, she can be heard on projects by Makena Hartlin, Da$htone, Blindboy & others. When she is not making music, you can find her baking, gardening, hiking, rock climbing and cuddling with her dog Tucker.
