Katja Ji Trio

Katja Ji is a Chicago-based jazz pianist, vocalist, and composer. Trained at the Amsterdam Conservatory and shaped by years of performing across Europe, she leads a trio whose sound lives at the intersection of jazz and contemporary lyricism — grounded, searching, and deeply melodic. She brings her own voice to her original songs, adding an intimate dimension to her live performances. She is joined by Kevin Gunawan on contrabass and Diego Rodriguez on drums.
