John Wambach Sextet

John Wambach is a trombonist, composer, and educator in the Chicago area. He has performed in a wide variety of venues, from the Jazz Showcase in Chicago to the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC. He has shared the stage with such legendary musicians as Steve Wilson, Delfeayo Marsalis, and Ted Nash. His group brings new energy to the jazz sextet format with original compositions as well as rediscoveries of rarely performed hard bop classics.
