Gustavo Flores Unity

Gustavo Flores (Tiwa Bleu) is a Neo Latin Jazz drummer, composer, and bandleader based in Aurora, Illinois, whose music is cinematic and rooted in collective expression. Drawing spiritual influence from Sun Ra and John Coltrane, his work carries themes of resistance and endurance grounded in his Mexican heritage. He is also the founder of East Wind, a community-driven cultural arts space amplifying Latino, Black American, jazz, and global music traditions.
