Folkus

Folkus weaves together a unique and energetic mixture of original and folk music, with an emphasis on improvisation, melody, and interaction. Drawing from a wide range of influences, they freely embrace different musical traditions beyond the confines of jazz. Featuring Andy Danstrom on drums, Owen Frankel on bass, Gabe Heinemann on saxophone, and Solomon Lindenberg on piano, each member brings a different musical perspective that creates a collaborative band sound.
