Aviana Gedler Trio

Hailing from West Des Moines, Iowa, Aviana Gedler is a jazz singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for music and performance artistry.  As the 1st Place Winner of the Ravenscroft Jazz Prize and 2nd Place Winner of the 2024 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition, she developed her voice and improvisational ear at the New England Conservatory in Boston under renowned faculty such as Dominique Eade, Ran Blake, and Jason Moran. She is well-versed in the worlds of swing, bossa nova, bebop, modern jazz, and contemporary music, and has shared her music across New England and Midwest. She now resides in Chicago, where she teaches music to all ages and has performed in various clubs, including the Jazz Showcase and Easy Does It.
