Guitarist Alejandro Urzagaste is a midwestern native of South American descent whose musical interest piqued at an early age by popular music on the radio. He studied guitar at Northern Illinois University with Fareed Haque. Alejandro released "Urban Intervals," in January 2012.
Alejandro has toured and performed with legendary musicians including Jodie Christian, Bill Carrothers, Von Freeman, Rodney Whitaker, Ron Blake, Bobby Broom, Ron Perrillo, Pat Mallinger, Fred Anderson, Malachi Favors and George Fludas.
Drummer and multidisciplinary artist Ethan Kogan lives in Brooklyn, New York. There, he leads two cutting-edge bands: the experimentalist supergroup Nu Music, featuring contemporary acoustic improvisation with live computer-work, and Slumpwick Grummo, a darkly-brooding pact between pop, indie rock, and jazz songwriting.
