Karli Bunn Trio

Karli Bunn is a Chicago-based saxophonist, composer, and educator. As a Quad City native with degrees from Northern Illinois and DePaul University, Karli has performed a broad context of music with ensembles including the Blueshift Big Band, Ten of Soul, Calaveras LD, the Isaiah Spencer Quintet, The Honey Jackets in the Marriott’s production of Beehive, and her own ensembles. Bunn focuses her efforts on incorporating the aural tradition into modern innovation while fostering diversity and inclusivity within her community. She currently teaches at Schaumburg High School and privately through her own studio.
